Bay Area Research Institute is a full-time Independent Clinical Research Facility.  (Please see BARI Overview or Dr. Toups’s CV for more information.)

Because we are a research center and do not provide private practice services, we ask that your patients continue to see you for their ongoing health care needs.

If you have a patient that may be appropriate for one of our studies, please have them contact us directly.  We will review the study with your patient, and, if eligible, obtain informed consent.

Clinical trials generally follow labs, EKGs and vitals closely during the study.  We are happy to provide our subjects with this information, to aid in your ongoing care of the patient.
